The Hobart Hurricanes and Sydney Thunder will lock horns at Bellerive Oval on Monday evening to determine who becomes the Big Bash League champion for 2024/25.

The hosts have never won a BBL title — having lost their two previous finals appearances — while it’s been nine years since the men in lime green lifted the coveted trophy.
The Hurricanes, who finished top of the standings, qualified for the final after toppling the Sydney Sixers in last week’s Qualifier, while the Thunder needed to knock off the Melbourne Stars and Sixers to book their spot in the decider.
Batter Ollie Davies, who missed Friday’s Challenger in Sydney due to injury, returns to the Thunder squad, while the Hurricanes have named an unchanged line-up.
The match gets underway at 7.15pm AEDT.
