KL Rahul with Athiya Shetty; post announcing the birth of their baby girl

Team India cricketer KL Rahul and his wife, Bollywood actor Athiya Shetty, on Monday (March 24) welcomed a baby girl.
The couple announced the news on their official Instagram handles.
The couple got married in January 2023 after dating for four years. They had announced their pregnancy in November 2024. “Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025,” their post had stated.
Many celebrities, including Ayushmann Khurrana, Sobhita Dhulipala, Ileana D’Cruz, Ayesha Shroff, Kiara Advani, Shanaya Kapoor, and Athiya’s brother and actor Ahan Shetty wished the couple in the comments of the post.
Athiya, 30, is the daughter of acclaimed actor Suniel Shetty and Mana Shetty. She made her acting debut in 2015, with Nikkhil Advani’s remake of Subhash Ghai’s Hero. Mubarakan and Motichoor Chaknachoor are some of the other feature films she has starred in.
Rahul, 30, is a star batsman of the Indian Cricket Team. The cricketer, who is a part of the Delhi Capitals franchise in the Indian Premier League, obtained special permission to travel back home to be with his wife. Rahul, who was earlier part of Lucknow Super Giants, was acquired by DC for Rs 14 crores at the 2025 auction.
