Voll smashed 17 fours and a six as she finished unbeaten on 99 off 56 balls for the UP Warriorz in their 12-run victory against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Lucknow.
The 21-year-old’s innings matched New Zealand’s Sophie Devine knock for RCB in the inaugural season in 2023 for highest score in the short history of the Indian-based T20 competition as the Warriorz posted the highest ever total in the WPL, amassing 5/225 from their 20 overs.
RCB’s gallant run chase also broke records as their total of 213 made it the highest scoring match in competition history.

Voll opened the batting alongside fellow Australian Grace Harris (39 off 22) and the pair got the Warriorz off to a rollicking start with a 77-run partnership.
But it was during the middle overs against the spinners where Voll did her best work, with her sweep shot becoming the trademark of her innings.
She swept nine boundaries, including a six, against the tweakers but when asked post-match if she felt like she had missed a great opportunity to make history, the Queenslander replied “I think I did”.
Voll was on 98 for the final delivery of the innings, but could only muster a single off a yorker from England off spinner Charlie Dean.
“I should have known she would bowl that [yorker],” she said.
In the field, Voll took two catches while she was also handed the responsibility of bowling the final over of the match with her off breaks.
The previous over had gone for a whopping 28 as RCB number ten Sneh Rana blasted Deepti Sharma for three sixes and two fours – there was also a no-ball and a single from Kim Garth in there – to make it the most expensive over ever in the WPL.
Voll kept her cool however, conceding just two runs before Renuka Singh was run out on the third ball to end match.
Australians Ellyse Perry (28 off 15 and 0/35 off four overs), Garth (3 not out and 0/42 off four) and Georgia Wareham (17 off 15 and 2/43 off four) all featured for RCB.
Voll burst onto the international scene during the Australian summer, replacing the injured Alyssa Healy at the top of the order for the ODI series against India and scoring a century in just her second match as well as earning a baggy green in the historic MCG Ashes Test.
She was rewarded for her exploits in national colours with a late call up to the WPL as a replacement for Sri Lankan Chamari Athapaththu.
