Gujarat Titans played two consecutive Indian Premier League (IPL) finals at its home ground – the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
While it lifted the trophy in 2022 by beating Rajasthan Royals in the summit clash, the team lost to Chennai Super Kings in the final of the following season. In 2024, Gujarat finished eighth in the standings, largely due to its inability to dominate at home. It won just three out of seven matches at the venue, with the last game scheduled there being washed out due to rain.
Whether Gujarat is able to bounce back this season will depend a lot on its performances at home.
