India vs Bangladesh Live Score T20 World Cup 2024: A confident India will be looking to take another step towards securing a semi-final spot when they take on neighbours Bangladesh in a Super 8 match of the T20 World Cup 2024. India entered the second round unbeaten and continued their good run riding on sparkling performances from Suryakumar Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah as the brushed aside Afghanistan. On the other hand, Bangladesh won three of their four matches from the first round to qualify but started their Super 8 campaign with a defeat to Australia earlier this week.

The rivalry between the two teams has taken off in the past decade or so owing to some tense on-field incidents and a few debatable calls. The two teams last time met at this stage at the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia when India emerged victorious in a rain-affected clash.

For India, their biggest worry currently is the form of their two senior-most batters Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli who are also opening in the competition. Rohit hasn’t been able to put up a significant score since hitting a half-century in India’s tournament opener against Ireland.

On the other hand, the match against Afghanistan was the first time this tournament that Kohli registered a score in double-digits – a run-a-ball 24. Barring these two, the rest have been pretty impressive including allrounder Hardik Pandya.

Bangladesh will be hoping for more contribution from their top-order batters if they hope to keep their hopes of making it to the last-four alive.
