Arshdeep Singh became India’s highest wicket-taker in T20 internationals during the first match against England in Kolkata on Wednesday. He surpassed Yuzvendra Chahal’s record of 96 wickets in the format. The left-arm pacer achieved this milestone in his 61st T20I by dismissing openers Phil Salt and Ben Duckett.
Arshdeep made his T20I debut against England in 2022 and has since established himself as one of India’s premier fast bowlers in the format.
