India and West Indies will face each other in the three-match WODI series at the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium in Vadodara starting from Sunday.
After a stellar T20I series victory against the visitor, India will look to continue its improved form and start on the right foot. West Indies managed to level the series but the decider saw the host dominate courtesy of yet another half-century by Smriti Mandhana and a record-equalling fastest fifty by Richa Ghosh to propel India to its highest-ever T20I total of 217.
In their 26 WODI meetings, India holds the upper hand with 21 wins to West Indies’ 5. The last time these teams clashed, India thrashed West Indies by 155 runs in Hamilton during a Women’s ODI World Cup match in 2022.
