India Women announced its squad for the upcoming Tri-Nation series against Sri Lanka and South Africa on Tuesday.
The tournament will be played in Sri Lanka and kickstart on April 27 when the host takes on India with the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo hosting all the matches.
India pacers Renuka Singh Thakur and Titas Sadhu were not considered for the selection due to injuries. Shafali Verma missed out once again while Arundhati Reddy has been named after a brief period of absence.
Kashvee Gautam and Sree Charani were handed their maiden national call-ups after impressive performances in the recently concluded Women’s Premier League (WPL) edition and domestic tournaments.
