IPL 2025: Gujarat Titans pacer Kagiso Rabada returns home due to personal reasons

Gujarat Titans pacer Kagiso Rabada has returned to South Africa from the ongoing IPL season due to some personal reasons. The South Africa international was a part of Gujarat Titans’ first two matches of IPL 2025.

“Kagiso Rabada has returned to South Africa to deal with an important personal matter,” said in a statement by Gujarat Titans.

Rabada had missed Titans’ win against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Wednesday.

The South African pacer conceded 41 runs for a wicket in debut with the Titans in side’s IPL 2025 opening game defeat against Punjab Kings. Against Mumbai Indians, in the second game, Rabada recorded figures of 1/42.

Rabada was acquired by Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2025 auction for Rs. 10.75 crore
