Delhi seamer Mitchell Starc, who starred for the Capitals with the ball posted a three-fer in the team’s first game of the season to emphasis on the importance of his purchase. The Aussie quick climbed to fifth on the Purple Cap rankings with his showing against LSG, while teammate Kuldeep Yadav, who scalped two for 20 runs in his 4 overs placed seventh in the wicket-takers standings following the conclusion of the game.
LSG’s Digvesh Singh, who also picked up a couple of wickets to help his team’s fight came in ninth on the list.
