NEW DELHI: Rajasthan Royals head coach Rahul Dravid is recovering from an injury and currently relies on a wheelchair, struggling to walk. However, his dedication to the team remains unwavering. A revered figure in Indian cricket, Dravid has stayed actively involved in Rajasthan Royals’ IPL 2025 campaign.
Ahead of Rajasthan Royals’ clash against Chennai Super Kings, Dravid inspected the pitch while seated in a wheelchair, a moment that earned widespread admiration on social media for his commitment despite his condition.

Dravid sustained the injury while playing for Vijaya Cricket Club in a Karnataka State Cricket Association League match.
Rajasthan Royals find themselves at the bottom of the points table, having suffered two defeats in as many matches in the ongoing tournament.
Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and opted to bowl against Rajasthan Royals.
Coming into the match after a loss against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at home, CSK made two changes with Jamie Overton coming in for Sam Curran and Vijay Shankar replacing Deepak Hooda.
