There are forecasts for heavy rain and thunderstorms in Kolkata on Saturday which may prevent the match from going ahead.
On Friday, the teams’ training sessions were also marred by weather, with both sides having to abandon their pre-match routines mid way after rain in the evening.

The rain is also likely to impact the opening ceremony which is set to feature artists Karan Aujla, Disha Patani and Shreya Ghosal.
If the match ends up getting washed out, the two teams will share one point each.
