Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) face an uphill task against Gujarat Titans (GT) at home as they aim to rediscover their form after suffering three back-to-back defeats. The SRH vs GT match will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad from 7.30 PM IST.
GT are third in
Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 points table with four points from three matches. Their only defeat came in the opener against Punjab Kings and since then they have defeated top teams like Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Sunrisers started with a terrific win over Rajasthan Royals in which they also scored 286 runs. However, since then, the Pat Cummins-led SRH have suffered consecutive defats against Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders. The IPL 2024 finalists are currently at the bottom of the IPL 2025 points table after four matches.
The Sunrisers’ biggest issue has been their lack of big scores despite packing enough firepower in the team. They are losing too many quick wickets early on, executing their slam-bang approach and this has reduced them to small totals more often than not. They lost to KKR by 80 runs while chasing a target of 201 at the Eden Gardens.
SRH vs GT head-to-head record and current form
GT lead the head-to-head record 3-1 in four completed matches while the game at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad last season was abandoned.
