Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) turned out in green jerseys for its IPL 2025 match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday.
The green jerseys, made from recycled fabric, are part of the franchise’s broader sustainability initiatives, aiming to raise awareness about conservation and the need to protect the environment.
Speaking on the initiative, Rajesh Menon, COO, of Royal Challengers Bengaluru, said: “For us, it is about being bold, both on and off the pitch. Our green jerseys are more than just a symbol; they are a call to action.

RCB started this initiative in 2011 and has sported the green jersey in 14 matches since then. In IPL 2024, RCB wore the green kit in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders.
